What does this viewer actually render?

We list the OLE streams inside the .mpp file (Props, Tbl, Var2Data, FixedMeta, etc.) and surface every printable text run. We do not parse task durations, dependencies, or render a Gantt chart — that needs a full MPP parser that doesn't exist in JavaScript.

How do I see tasks and durations?

From Microsoft Project, export to XML, CSV, or PDF. Project XML and CSV open in our data viewers; PDF opens in our PDF viewer.

No. The MPP file is parsed entirely in your browser using local JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server.

MPP is Microsoft Project's proprietary OLE compound document. Tasks, resources, calendars, assignments, and dependencies live in named streams whose binary layout has never been publicly documented in full and isn't reproducible in JavaScript. This viewer opens the CFB container, lists every internal stream with its size, and extracts printable text — names, notes, and resource labels — so you can identify a plan without launching Project.
